When enrolling, choose your Doctoral Degree according to what you most believe you would like to do in the Holistic, New Thought Metaphysical field:
• Doctor of Metaphysical Science, Msc.D. Good for anyone who wishes to deal with all areas of Metaphysics, i.e. teaching, counseling, healing, and ministry.
• Doctor of Metaphysical Counseling, Mc.D. Good for anyone wishing to concentrate on one-to-one counseling from a metaphysical viewpoint.
• Doctor of Ministry, D.Min. Good for anyone wishing to be a minister conducting his/her ministry more in a church-type setting. Specialties are available in various aspects of ministry and are noted on the degree. Choices include New Thought Ministry, Holistic Counseling Ministry, Pastoral Counseling and Holistic Ministry.
• Doctor of Divinity, D.D. Good for anyone who wishes to do a great deal of spiritual teaching. Specialties are available in Pastoral Counseling or Spiritual Healing.
• Doctor of Holistic Ministry, Mh.D.® Good for anyone who wishes to have a more holistic oriented ministry emphasizing the whole person and health-based on a blending of body, mind, and Spirit.
• Metaphysical Hypnosis, Mhyp.D.® Good for anyone who wishes to specialize in teaching self-hypnotic techniques as a means of reprogramming positive spiritual truth and as a method of release into higher meditational consciousness. The awarding of this degree does not give one the legal right to practice hypnotherapy—but rather a person with ministerial ordination that specializes in doing pastoral educational counseling or teaching in the spiritual uses of selfhypnotic practices. A cassette tape of hypnotic induction for self-hypnotic conditioning should be submitted with the Doctoral Dissertation.
• Metaphysical Psychology, Mpsy.D.® Good for anyone specializing in educational counseling, teaching, writing and ministry on how to apply higher metaphysical spiritual truth to improve life, love, success and happiness. The awarding of this degree does not give one the right to practice as a psychologist, but rather signifies a person with ministerial standing versed in the psychology of metaphysically oriented pastoral counseling.
Biblical Interpretation, D.D.
Good for anyone who wishes to specialize in teaching and writing about penetrating the symbolism of The Bible to uncover spiritual truths for spiritual reawakening and life improvement.
Ph.D. DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY PROGRAMS IN:
This degree is good for a person who wishes to specialize in Pastoral Counseling by exploring the psychology of pastoral counseling principles. The awarding of this degree does not give one the right to practice as a psychologist, but rather signifies a person with ministerial standing versed in the psychology of pastoral counseling.• Pastoral Counseling Psychology:
• Holistic Life Coaching. A brand new field that concentrates on one-to-one coaching of a person’s inner potential in career, love, creativity, success, and well-being while emphasizing on a person’s positive present and future. Well-received by the general public, earning varies nationwide with $300 hourly at the high end of the range. Most coaches do their work on the phone from home or wherever they may be.
• Holistic Life Counseling. This degree is good for the person who wishes to counsel others on their past and current problems from a whole person perspective.
• Metaphysical Counseling. Good for anyone who wishes to counsel others using metaphysical teaching principles and practices.
• Transpersonal Counseling. Good for those who wish to integrate higher consciousness experiences as a major part of life, improving the one-to-one counseling process.
• Metaphysical Parapsychology, Ph.D. Good for anyone who wishes to specialize in metaphysical areas that would involve psychic research as a means to greater spiritual truth and discoveries.
• Mystical Research, Ph.D. Good for anyone who wishes to specialize in experimentation and research into mystical, transcendent and transpersonal consciousness as a means to higher spiritual truth and union with God. A guided mystically oriented meditation cassette tape should be submitted with the dissertation.
• Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D. specializing in Comparative Religion Good for anyone who wishes to specialize in researching, teaching and writing about the comparison of various religious teachings to the basic teachings of the International Metaphysical Ministry where Metaphysics has evolved into a religious faith in and of itself among many people.
Student Requirements: Doctoral Dissertation requirement - Presentation of major world religions and their beliefs compared to metaphysics as a religious faith as taught by the International Metaphysical Ministry.
As part of any of the Doctoral Degree programs you choose, you are awarded both an Ordination Diploma and a Practitioners Diploma.
Ordained Ministers Diploma
Demonstrates that you have taken holistic, new thought metaphysically oriented studies. Ordained ministry status provides legal right to engage in counseling, spiritual healing work, perform marriages and other ministerial rights. Please note that you must establish an independent ministry according to the laws of your state, county, country or province to enjoy the benefits of ministerial standing such as tax advantages. Awarding of your minister’s diploma is also the legal basis for awarding and maintaining your Doctoral Degree. The Minister’s Diploma is awarded at the same time as your Bachelor’s Degree.
Practitioners Diploma
Demonstrates you have studied the principles and practices of Spiritual Mind Healing of physical, emotional, and other life problems. Awarded at the same time as your Bachelor’s Degree and Ordination Diploma.
