Please be informed that you have arrived at the original, copyrighted UNIVERSITY OF METAPHYSICS , founded by Dr. Paul Leon Masters, dating back nearly half a century to 1959.

In the last three years, opportunistic operators have created websites with names closely resembling the "University of Metaphysics" in a seemingly purposeful attempt to confuse the public that they are the University of Metaphysics.

They have even placed the actual name "University of Metaphysics" in paid Internet ads and on web pages. It appears that much of our prospectus and other materials have been copied, almost word for word, in an effort to appear that their website represents the real University of Metaphysics. The University of Metaphysics has no monopoly on metaphysical teachings in the world, but we do take exception to those flowery spiritually worded websites who plagiarize material and calculatedly emulate what has been an earned and respected school reputation worldwide for nearly half a century.

If you contact a school, or are contacted by a school claiming to be the University of Metaphysics, or with a similar-sounding name, ask the following:

How many years history of operation does your organization have?  If it's less than 48 years, you know that you have not reached the long-established University of Metaphysics. Simply hang up.

Who is the head of your school, and how many years has this person been operating a university? If the head of the school is not Dr. Paul Leon Masters, you will know that you have not reached the respected University of Metaphysics. Simply hang up.

One of the most vulgar of all practices in today's world is identity theft. We find it despicable, and are certain you do as well. These days, there also exists corporate theft, which may not seem as sinister because of the impersonal nature of a corporation. But, a corporation is made up of people whose livelihoods are dependent upon the corporation. If they are sincere employees, such as we have on the staff of the University of Metaphysics and its associated University of Sedona, it is the same as using corporate identity theft to rob honest employees of their means to make a living.

It is, of course, one thing when this happens in the secular business world, and in this current age of sham and deception - it's not totally unexpected. But when it takes place in the spiritual field, where one would not expect to find it, it is a much darker a deed.

Having arrived at this website, you are most likely thinking about entering the spiritual field professionally, and, therefore, we must assume that you are a person of integrity. With the knowledge you now have, and if you are seeking quality higher consciousness education, don't be confused by look-alike names; choose to enroll in the real University of Metaphysics, a school of long-standing with a worldwide reputation of excellence.
